Stoddard County Ambulance is proud to have 12 members on the Special Response Team,and these team members are also a part of the Region-E Homeland Security Team which includes several members of different area first responder services.
This team participates in special responses including, search and rescue, specialty rescues (confined space, grain bin, heavy lift, and HAZMAT) SCAD is also contracted with FEMA and responds throughout the United States.
Team trainings happen every month and are vital to maintaining knowledge and technique.
Stoddard County Ambulance District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Stoddard County Ambulance District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
